Designed and built in British Columbia, the Fawcett Cannon is already making an impact. The first unit has been purchased by the Tsay Keh Dene Nation, a remote Indigenous Nation in Northern BC committed to protecting their community and Traditional Territory.

"Tsay Keh Dene is very happy to have purchased the Fawcett Cannon from White River Contracting in Vanderhoof," says Chief Johnny Pierre. "The Cannon is built tough, it’s user friendly, and locally made by people that understand the terrain we all live in, where road access is limited."

"I’m very proud to be working with the Tsay Keh Dene Nation, who have been open and forward-thinking about wildfire response," adds inventor Ron Fawcett, a veteran firefighter with 45 years of frontline experience.

Fighting Fire Faster: A New Standard for Wildfire Response

At a time when early wildfire containment is critical, the Fawcett Cannon delivers unmatched speed, capacity, and efficiency:

  • Rapid Water Deployment: Loads 8,325 litres (2,200 gallons) of water in just 6.5 minutes.

  • Massive Coverage: Sprays up to 2,270 litres per minute, with six 2.5-inch outlets supporting multiple hose lines.

  • Mobility Under Fire: Can be driven through active wildfire areas, covering 900 metres in 10 minutes.

  • Adaptive Water Delivery: Offers fine jet or heavy fan spray, adjustable between 20 and 270 feet.

  • High Visibility and Stability: Features 360-degree exterior lighting and a balanced, terrain-ready chassis for safe operation.

With a front-mounted 3.8-metre blade, the Cannon can also clear debris, trenches, and fallen trees — eliminating delays often caused by inaccessible terrain.

"My goal was simple: build a tool that gets water on fire faster, keeps firefighters safer, and saves communities," says Fawcett.
