Recent research by the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research highlights the growing need to educate the public about the ethical use of AI. At the same time, studies from OnSide show that while AI is becoming an integral part of everyday life, 75% of young people report feeling unprepared to deal with its complexities. BHWAI’s mission is to provide children with the knowledge they need to make ethical decisions in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

This resource emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, helping kids question the praise and responses they receive from AI, especially when it may be unearned or misleading.
BHWAI offers an interactive, self-paced curriculum featuring animated videos, comics, and games, designed to be accessible without requiring extensive teacher preparation. The resources come with a teacher’s guide and discussion points, making it a great fit for both homeschoolers and traditional classrooms.
